First I was floored, now I'm getting covered!

The next thing I'm attacking as I build an office in thr hobby barn is a ceiling over the area. It will be double duty. A ceiling for the office and a storage spot on the top. Still a lot to do, but here are some photos as I moved the lumber from the new trailer to the top of the office framework. I am building it with an overhang as you can see in the last photo.

It’s official! Stu found his project car.

[This is Donna posting, I will be doing so intermittently on this blog keeping you up to date on Stu’s projects while he works hard on finishing out the barn AND working on his project car.]

Stu found his project car yesterday. He had four cars to look at and as soon as he saw this one, he knew it was the one he wanted. A red 1965 Ford Falcon convertible in excellent condition.

The photos are from the Facebook Marketplace ad, Stu didn’t take any when he checked it out yesterday. We hope to pick it by the end of the week and there will be more pictures taken. Here is the basic info:

1965 Ford Falcon convertible
16,000 original miles
Top in great condition
200 CI 6 cyl engine in excellent condition
Original rims and hubcaps as well as the custom wheels
Original radio

Plans are to pick it up on Friday! He’s so excited!

Floored and Weathered

Floored? Yup, my new trailer now has a floor and it’s made it’s first trip out in the wild.

Weathered? Us – cold with a dab of snow. Being retired and not having to go anywhere makes me wish we had gotten several more inches. But I know that’s not what the rest of the area needs…LOL!

And in the final piece of news, I went out to look at a possibility for a car project yesterday. I have four cars I want to look at and hope to see the other three this weekend before making my final decision.

Something new for me…

My happy new thing is a trailer from Harbor Freight. I've been eyeing it for almost a year and it just came back in stock. Then I got a big discount with their credit card. I don’t care it’s like working on an erector kit.

I'm having fun! I will eventually add sides to it and use it for hauling things from Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, Harbor Freight, etc. Like building materials…still more needed to finish the office in the pole barn. I’ll let you see what the final product looks like when I'm done.
