First Project on the lift – DONE!

With the electrical hookup on the lift completed on Monday, today I attempted my first project. Changing the oil and rotating the tires on our Jeep Patriot before I go out of town next week. I slowly tested the lift with the car loaded. Up a little, down a little. Up a little, shake-shake-shake. Up a little more, and more, and more. Back down. Back up. Success!

All fluids checked, fresh oil, rotated aired-up tires – ready for my trip.

Soon to be Lifted!

Ever since the concrete work was completed last July, I have been researching and pricing out the vehicle lifts for the pole barn.

A couple weeks ago, I found the lift I want was also for sale at Lowe’s. Then it went on sale for 15% off. AND I gets another 5% from my Lowe’s for Pros membership that I joined recently. I've been waiting for the last few $$ to go into savings so I can order.

Today was the day! The lift is on order and should be available for pickup some time next week. I will borrow our neighbor’s long-bed trailer to bring it home. Then I will disassemble it and move it into the pole barn where it will be reassembled.

Am I excited? Like a kid in a candy store…
